We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your continued support with our events for the oncology patients and their families. I have learned from the staff, families and children about how meaningful their time together has been at these events. We provide quarterly activities for children with cancer and their families thanks to generous donations from the Lyn Stacie Getz Foundation. These activities encourage families to connect with one another to decrease isolation and increase informal support systems.

Tikun Olam in Action: Beth Tifloh students made pillows for children served by the Kennedy Krieger Institute under a program funded by the Lyn Stacie Getz Foundation. The program created by the students continued with a magic show and snacks. Additional patients who were unable to participate were able to make pillows that evening. The Beth Tfiloh students enjoyed leaving each person with the gift of a soft and colorful pillow that they created together.
